Hi everybody....

got a new toy in the office, a windows 2003 server.

Because the questions are too many, I like to know some good websites about using windows 2003... IIS is not a big problem, but I'd like to know more about wireless connections, VPN and security.

So, any links to suggest?

I think that devshed.com is a great site regarding the open-source world, I guess if there is something like that for Microsoft world.

<ot>
Do u remember the MS advert "We save a penny for every single transaction" (or something like that)? I want to shout the same in my office and spill every single drop of blood from that server! :)

welcome to webmasterworld

you have raised many points I am not taht experienced to deal with but i suggest

win 2003 (eval will do) has got great tutorials and wizzards and is reeelly easy to play with

wireless? is another medium for passing the data. not much difference between a mobile and a cabled phone, at least from the computer point of view; it is just another kind of a network card but you do not plug a cable into. hub called access point

security: keep systems up to date and light your firewall

vpn, and the rest, just google

hope this hlep

well, it's true... I've raised too many points... sorry :)

About the tutorials: yesterday I found [winnetmag.com...] seems good...

About the WI-FI... I'm really scared about the security of wireless connections.

Security... Norton is up, hope that is enough to sleep well on night :)
