Repeater/Data Question

I'm using a repeater and it populates the data just fine in the <item template> section just fine.

I would like to add some dynamic data in the <headertemplate> section, but it doesn't take with the same syntax. In fact, I've had difficulty gradding random bits of data from the datasource.

What is the trick to this in .NET?

Did you ever come up with a solution to this one? I've never worked with repeaters, so was hoping someone would answer.

Thanks for the pop, but I never did get an answer and the "course" I wanted to take on ASP.NET turned out to be a farce. I left after the first night. The instructor didn't even have the framework installed, and was just reading from the book.

I haven't worked with ASP.NET since then, but I really want to get it going again one day. I liked it. I need to find an expert. Some of the example I glean from other sources just don't work.
