Possible to detect if particular font is installed?

Is there a way to detect whether the client has a particular font available?

I'm not sure if that would be possible. That might constitute a security risk. Like I said, me not too sure...

That's understandable. I know there's a way to install a font with CSS if it isn't already installed, but that's not widely supported.
