Hello,

Im looking for a new development tool for my growing site. I've been reading a lot in this forum but cant get a grasp on what product would be good for my needs.
I need stucture and link organization for my site has hundreds of pages and is growing (i guess like the navigation feature in FP, or the way DW will update links if the path changes)
The pages are relativly basic, mostly text content, so flash or other 'fancy' stuff is not needed.
I like the combination of html editing and wysiwyg, without the tool taking too much control over my code (i.e., just coding what I would have expected with nothing extra when using the wysiwyg).
I like the idea of direct publishing/updating within the tool, i currently manually update with an ftp client...however, i have little experience with this feature. Ive experimented w/ FP but dont like the idea of the need for FP extensions.
My host is unix/apache.
Overall, DW seems to be more than I need, and FP seems to take over too much control.
What are my other choices?
Again, my primary need is the structure/link organization to help me be more efficient and not have to do the same little update to every page if my underlying template or file structure changes.

thanks in advance,
mike

Do you have HTML Kit? If not give it a try, and the price is right? (FREE)
