Want to use FP correctly now...

please excuse my ignorance here.

Ive been using FP building indivual pages, not a "site", and uploading w/ an ftp client. My site is now growing and I want to take advantage of the site struture and publishing features. Can I just start a new "site" with FP and direct it to my server to download the site?

There are number of ways you could do this:

• Make a new site locally and publish over what's on your server
  
• Open the site remotely on your server with FP and publish the site to your local PC
  
• FTP the existing site to your local PC and add the pages to a new FP web
