I have this warning in Dreamweaver if I try to create a site.

"The root folder you have chosen is inside the folder for site " . This may cause some operations, such as synchronization , to work incorrectly."

Please what is this warning and I cannot connect to my database remotely correctly?

Is this the reason?

All this means is that you have your root folder for your local site definition as a sub-folder within another site's root folder. However, this should not prevent you from connecting to your site.

It *might* have something to do with any problems you have with a database - I can't say for certain. The solution would be to make sure that each site defined has its own root folder (for instance, c:\mysite\ for mysite.com, and c:\yoursite for yoursite.com RATHER THAN c:\mysite\yoursite\ for yoursite.com). Is this making any sense?
