I am trying to use a MS FrontPage (2000)Theme - and have nice little personal family reunion photo gallery produced. I am using Yahoo Geocities free posting space for this little project...(please save the commmentary!)

Problem: I had been using "Bubbles" & it viewed fine. But then I changed to "Capsules" & that is when the problems started. I have everything copied over to my Geocities Themes subfile and everything looks good, EXCEPT the banner for the theme never shows up, yet very other graphic element does.

I've checked the Theme file and every Capsules element seems to be in place. This is true for each subsequent theme I try. I have several themes in my site's Themes subfolder...could this be the problem?

Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to Webmaster World, Meaux.

Not sure that I understand the nature of your problem.

I get the impression that you actually did test your "Bubbles" theme both in Frontpage and on your website and it looked fine both places. Am I right?

And how about your "Capsules" theme? Does it look fine in Frontpage but broke on your website?

Yes...the Bubbles theme looked fine both in Front Page and in the Web site. The Capsules theme appeared to be fine in Front Page, but broke on the web site. I manually upload all the individual files & do not use FTP. (This is to a free site & I do it from home, so do not have advanced software capabilities.)

Since the worry is not worth the effort, I think I'm going to just design my own template from scratch.
