I'm looking for a content management system that can be integrated with a ColdFusion site. The client has no experience with HTML or other WYSIWYG editors but they are familiar with MS Word. The client would like to:

-create new pages
-update text and links
-add pictures and possibly videos

What are the best tools out there for this? I am familiar with Macromedia Contribute but I'm not sure it suits their needs here. Thanks.

Perhaps MovableType is what you need.

Thanks for the response. I don't think that's what I'm looking for. I'll keep checking around though.

...yes, but it is also great as a content management system. I use MT to run several non-blog sites.

I spent some time last year looking for a CMS system that could be bolted onto an existing site, as opposed to the blog/template tools that are great for using from scratch.

I gave up, but I do remember looking at PureCMS from Globalscape for a while. It doesn't seem to get mentioned often, but it looked interesting, kinda like an all-grown-up Contribute (which is next to useless for multiple user remote-access, BTW).

fwiw, i hear good things about mambo. sounds like it's the Apple computer of CMS in terms of implementation/use. No technical skills required.

i'm going to download it pretty soon
