Template pages not being indexed

Hi,

I have a couple of sites which I've designed using Dreamweaver templates and I've found that Google has only indexed the header and footer (ie the template bits) but not the page content.

I've been searching for previous postings of this problem but every post I've found on the subject suggests that it should work OK.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I should look for?

Many thanks in anticipation or your help!

Bob.

I've personally steered clear of DW templates for future proof design of the look of the website - as you have stated most do state in past threads that templates do not effect page seperation, crawl and SERPs.

I beg to differ, from my own experience, i will use templates to build at speed and strip them out once the site is done. Each and everypage has a unique set of link-navigation, meta's, title, etc, etc.
