Welcome to the forums, glad to have another Scot on board.

Can't say i have ever come across serif! other than the 'San-' typefont.

Just looked at the Serif website, and it all seems to be graphics based programs!

Let me know if it is a different 'Serif', also if its a wysiwyg or a TCE or both.

I created this site - <snip> - with an ancient version of Serif WebPlus.

Found it relatively easy to use, however it's default graphic themes are hideous - hence the white site with courier/arial fonts.

Hi,
I originally used Serif to build my website, had it looking all pretty and was satisfied, until I ran the code through an html checker. What a mess, close to 200 warnings and bunches of errors too. So I downloaded a html editor and hand coded everything. A few cheats here and there, but my code is very clean and simple. I also downloaded a html checker to make sure all is well and good.

I like serif (page plus) but there are loads of html errors with it..sadly. Doesnt seem to harm the search engine rankings too much tho..as for one of my sites im always either top 3 or at least 1st page. (on knees thanking God lol)

I just wondered if there was something i am missing with it that makes all these html errors..of if i really need to learn dreamweaver?
