For the longest time I have been working with shared borders. They are so flexable. Well I'm out growing the limits of them and I'm creating a dynamic web template trying to use DIV tags for the layout. By using % I can make it flexable, but what if I wanted something to display at the bottom like the copyright, contact, and the other stuff that belongs on the bottom. When I put another div/layer at the bottom, it affects the editable content, the layers colide in visibility or hide behind each other.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated!

Thanks Bumpaw. I did read that though. I just gave up on Layers/Div's for now. I got the whole % thing But its not working out. If you set something at 100% or any % how would you have a border at the bottom?

Tables aren't great, but I didn't have enough time to learn them. Or building a dynamic template.
Or how do you make the layer flex so that it is long enough to have the content in it without overlapping? My bottom border overlaps content on long pages.

Tables are easy, on a template anyway that has to be a little flexable. I do enjoy the presiseness of a DIV. Is there a good book on it or anthing that makes it a little easier?
