I have a couple of fairly large blocks of code that I tried to copy from the ww forums to Homesite and Notepad. The problem is that the code which was nicely formatted here lost all of it's white space, and was continuous. Anybody know what I'm missing here.

It does'nt actually matter if its HTML.

what type of code is it?

If HTML try placing into Dreamweaver and use the apply source formatting, even a demo can do this. It will layer the code. Not brillant but a good start, then Manual to get it looking professional.

Once it was a external style sheet, and the other time a long PHP function. I'll try it in Dreamweaver next time.
Thanks,
John

If you were on a mac Simple Text would fix it.

Are you doing a view source? and then cutting and pasting to note pad?

If yes stop and actuall open the html from within note pad instead.

Actually I was doing a simple copy paste from Webmaster World into both notepad and Homesite. The effect was the same in both, but lately there have been no more such problems.
