Dreamweaver libraries do not show up in subdomains.

I use libraries for my side bar in Dreamweaver. I recently created a subdomain on my site. I have synchronized all of my files on my site. I also tried to create a new site in Dreamweaver to handle uploads and so on. The problem is that my server puts everything under a subdirectory. Dreamweaver doesn't seem to like creating sites where the root folder is inside another sites root folder. My library items do not show up. I have even tried recreating the page from scratch and putting the library items in under the new site. They show up in Dreamweaer, but when I upload the page, the library items do not show up.

Sounds like it might just be a case of not accurately specifying the Host Directory. Whatever, a lot of people, if not the majority, give up on DW for transferring files and move to an FTP client.

To be fair, MM have talked up FTP improvements in the last few versions, but I've not tried so can't comment.

Welcome to webmasterworld, wundrbee.

Bit of a nightmare are sub-domains across DW. I've been trying to figure out, how to build across sub-domains, as if they were sub-directories for 1 site, instead of seperate site's in DW, but one complete site on the net.

I'm still trying to figure it out!

Regarding crossing the assets-library across sub-domains, i'm not aware of this being possibly. Which would also lead to templates not being crossable either.

Any idea's would be appreciated on this one!

Regarding the FTP - never used DW's synch. Ok well i used it once and got a website so twisted around. Stopped and have used a external for the last three years.
