well i have just made my site www.blah-blah.com
i have made it for my work and hope it attracts the right attention as i am already getting high rankings on google.

but i have created my site using dreamweaver 4. as the flash navagation buttons that are included in this programme are great i have used them. except on my bosses computer he cannot see these flash buttons and some of the pages are missing. i have had a look on his computer and its not working as he says .. i downalded shockwave onto his pc.. still nothing. i have some other buttons through my site and they work perfect!

can anyone help me find out what is worng. as this can become costly for my site i have created!

and is there anyway i can make my page size smaller as im aiming for 15k and its on something like 22k.

Regarding page size = 15K is a good maximum too work to for many reasons.

Personally look at code validation, try the validator at W3C.

Your boss has Shockwave, does that include the Macromedia Flash Reader? Also is it the right version, check that the Flash reader is as new if not newer than the flash writer.

Checked the site in question works fine in Mozilla, IE, and Opera - looks good too. I'm based in the UK. so maybe its your bosses computer setup - that ain't upto scratch!

so will i get a better rating if my pages are less than 15k?

W3C is world wide web consortium, and are the Official standards for WWW code.

The jury is out on that one, but SE's as a whole prefer it, and users download it quicker, which has very obvious benefits.
