Dynamic Web Templates
Attach a Dynamic Web Template to a set of pages that you want to share the same layout. Protect that layout by specifying which page regions are available to coauthors to make modifications. Dynamic Web Templates are syntax compatible with templates from Macromedia Dreamweaver 4, so you can easily move your Dreamweaver site to FrontPage 2003 or work on a site with Dreamweaver users.
It seems that FP2003 replaces the old Shared Borders with Dynamic Web Templates. Although these sort of templates might be familiar to DW users I'm still trying to figure out how FP processes them. Has anybody used these yet? I'm wondering if these are components that require the SharePoint server or if they are changes processed when documents are saved...and could then be used on any server.
If these don't produce code bloat like the old shared borders did, then they could be a powerful addition. If they rely on the Windows 2003 server then I won't be quite as impressed.
