Dreamweaver tags and robots

do extra dreamweaver codes affect the way robots read your page?

Hi. I've just made a template (first time) using dreamweaver and I've noticed that more tags (?) are added in the code. (i.e. for every editable or non-editable region). This seems to clog-up (?) the codes and my text is pushed down into the page. My question is, for those of you who have been using Dreamweaver for some time now, does this affect search engine optimization? (takes a longer time for robots to get to the more important text in your page) I hope it doesn't though because I just love this template capability function. It makes everything soooo much easier and quicker. Thanks .

The "editable" region tags are just <!-- Comment --> tags that DW itself is looking at.

SE's see it as a comment. These tags are really just ignored, as its use is to MARK code for the ease of the programmer to find different areas.

I have used it without problems.
