Hi,

I don't do this often so please bear with me if I trip up.

I'm using FrontPage 2000 to create a new website
(I'm not in a position to use an alternative Editor at present.), and I'm not fully experienced with the application.

I have created templates, the 'Web' and some templated pages.

The issue I'm finding is that when creating new templated pages and tables within them, pasting text or adding new text / links do not adhere to the external stylesheet even when using the "Format>Style Sheet Links" function.

This seems to indicate that to get the text to adhere to the stylesheets would require restarting the entire process of creating new styles.

I'm pulling my hair out over this as Microsoft's Knowledge base doesn't resolve this and the myriad of sites from a Google serach are mainly instructional without highlighting these issues.

Any help will be much appreciated.

regards

Make your stylesheets by hand in NotePad or another text editor and let FP only handle the link to the external file. It works fine that way. Using FP2K to generate styles is not a smooth process.
