Frontpage - cannot report, update templates or publish

Time out error on local drive

In the last few days I have started to receive an error message.

Server "" timed out. The current request did not complete sucessfully.

We receive the same error on two machine one running FP XP and the other FP2003 Beta. The error occurs when we try to run the report function, publish or in case of 2003 update templates.

The web is edited on a local drive. The problem does not occur on any of the other sites we work on that are all on the same local drive.

I dont run those OS but have you deleted any temp files that that program creates when it runs .. perhaps you had a crash out and its now corrupted?

I am assuming you are talking about your program on your hd yes?

The Frontpage 2003 Beta is on my HDD and the local web site is my HDD. I believe I deleted all the temp files, but this did not solve the problem.
