I would like to know how to PREVENT those annoying codes from appearing in
my HTML document. Such as:

<!--DWLayoutEmptyCell-->&nbsp;

I am aware I can do a clean up; but I would like to get rid of them all together.

Don't use Dreamweaver in Layout View?

That's not meant to be a smart reply, by the way - I would argue that you should be aware and in control of where you want to place tables and cells and divs and not leaving it to a (very good) editor.

I've used Dreamweaver for a while now, but never in that way. I mostly use the code window or the dual one and use external css to style and virtually never have the "editor-inserting-code-on-its-own" problem that a lot of people complain about...
