Hi

I've inherited a large website using framesets created with Adobe GoLive. I wish to convert the entire site to one without framesets and am using Dreamweaver.

What would be the easiest way to go about? I'm thinking of creating a uniform navigation structure in Fireworks (a banner with images and drop down menu lists) which I want to display at the top of each page. Can I use the search and replace to add this html code to each of the pages currently displaying in the main frame or is there another way?

I do not want to edit each page manually!

I would use a table and basically copy and paste the relevant html into it. It should work and then obviously you just need to tweak it to make sure its all okay.

You could go with server side includes (SSI), if you ran APACHE, and you can use the very same if your site runs on an IIS.
