Dreamweaver Template question

How do I apply a template to pages "en masse"?

I have run into this problem several times, and I'm still looking for a good workaround.

Can anyone tell me how to apply a dreamweaver template to hundreds of pages at the same time.

I just want to place all the existing information within and editable region.

Would doing a "find and replace" for some of the code work okay?

This seems like it shouldn't be hard, but i keep missing something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

not quite sure what your question is. Unfortunately if i think your trying what i think you are, then i have been in the same boat many a time.

Unless the pages are already in template's, then the answer is no. Which means you will have to manually drop the pages in to the template, which is time-consuming. Once they are in template's off course your idea's of local/directory/global site template's changes can come into effect.
