Error message in Dreamweaver

Cannot put file

I keep getting the error message:

"An error occurred - cannot put 'filename.dwt'
The operation completed successfully"

When I go to upload files to the site.

It seems that the files are overwriting, but something just isn't right. Any help on what this might be would be appreciated, it's getting rather irritating.

Isnt .dwt a Dreamweaver template? you dont need to upload this file.

Do you have permsision to uplaod to all the files/directories you're trying to write to?

Try to recreate the site cache (in the Site menu). Dreamweaver seems to have lost track of one of your templates
