Cannot make a Connection to my Host

550_mmServerScripts: Access is denied

Hi,

Im trying to create a connection to my host using Dreamweaver MX, asp.

I goto databases/data source name, click on the DSN button, and get the error 550_mmServerScripts: Access is denied

Any ideas, Ive also tried using the custom connection string, but still no success.

My host ensures me all the permissions are correct.

Ok, I havent fixed the problem, but i created a DSN connection locally, uploaded that to the server and it worked. So i can work around it :)

But it would be nice if anyone knows how to over come this problem

A few suggestions for finding some help:
Try a search on "550" here [macromedia.com].
Try posting to the MM news group at news://forums.macromedia.com/macromedia.dreamweaver.appdev
AFAIK, no patches for MX have been released as yet. This may be a bug. The initial release of DW4 had more then a few...
