If that doesn't work try a Detect and Repair... from the tools menu.
Another trick that sometimes worked was to publish a blank web to the same area. Don't publish over the web though. That gets FP re-associated with the folder where you have your webs locally.

I'm trying to keep all hyperlinks as absolute, would recalculating hyperlinks change them to relative?
Restart IIS - How do I do that please?

Check Server Extensions - I don't have any fp server extensions installed at the hosts.

I always work on the hard drive and then publish up to the web with a separate ftp program - are you saying to publish a blank page on the web?
