Need help on FP2000 Web Settings.

Won't add a DB connection.

Hi,

When I try to use Tools>Web Settings>Database>Add the new connection won't take. I have tried using 'File or Folder in Current Web' and 'System Data Source'. I name it, I set the path and Verify. Everything seems OK. I close the dialog box and when I go back to Web Settings, it's empty. As if I had never set any connections.

I believe that this is what is causing the HTTP 500 error when I try to link to a ASP page on my web. I have checked security (W2K), everything seems OK, I have full access to the machine. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Do you have IIS or PWS setup on the PC with the server extensions installed?

Hi Bill,

Yes I have IIS5 and PW installed. I just checked the Extensions using the IIS admin tool and recalculated the web. I also checked ODBC to make sure the System DNS' are still there.
