Today I made a minor text alteration to a page on my site. I made an alteration on it yesterday which worked. Trying to publish it gives me this Microsoft error message with just an "OK" button

"Server error: The page foruminfo.htm has been modified by (unknown) on 2nd Sept 2005 21:06:43 + 1100"

can anyone tell by this what the problem is?

Usualy that error means that the version on the server is different to the version on your pc (before you altered it) have you done any modifications to it outside of Frontpage?

Mack.

Hi Corey,
The file foruminfo.htm is just a text page detailing information about my forum - the forum is not loaded via FrontPage.

Mack, I publish to another site I have using the same FP2003 software without problems. My server host asked if I'd like to clear everything of the server and re-publish the whole thing. he reckons that might work.

Just make sure you have all the threads from your forum saved locally.

Have the made any changes to the file for you?

I've put the total clean out of the server on hold at present 'cause it started publishing again. I'll keep an eye on it and if I have to clear the server I'll be well prepared. Thanks for all your input.
