Having Problems with Date Function in DW mx

Appearing in strange places

I use

at the bottom of my pages. Problem is, when I save a page it sometimes inserts the code elsehwere on the page in place of other code. I think it is also doing it when I do a sitewide Find and Replace as well. It appears to be random in that it doesn't appear in the same place. It has always been within the body tag as far as I know.
