I'm having a problem with DW MX 2004 and spaces between layers.
With the 'Prevent Layer Overlaps' setting ON, when I butt two layers hard against each other spaces appear between them. The layers contain tables, with a background colour set, and the spaces then appear white between the coloured tables.
If I turn off 'prevent overlaps' and overlap the layers, I can eliminate the spaces and page displays correctly, even though in design view some of the content of the tables disappears because of the overlapping.
This is all well and good, but I want ultimately to convert the finished page to tables for maximum browser compatability - and DW won't convert overlapping layers to tables.
Any ideas why this is happening?
