I work with a php editor most of the time -
Everytime I want to choose or adjust a color I fire up Photoshop, paste in my hex color in the color picker and wiggle the sliders till I find a color I like

There's got to be a tiny app that lets me paste in hex values and change sliders to give me a new hex value

All the color picker apps I can find dont let you enter your own hex value - or even have sliders and stuff

I found one php webpage app but it's slow as it runs from the developers server

I'm looking for something that's small on screen and I don't want a color scheme planner OR a complementary color thing either!

Any tips or pointers anyone?

Try this. I think it's what you are talking about.

Jon - that's excellent, perfect!

I was considering writing my own in Macromedia Director but this is cool

The only extra I'd like would be to allow changes to the colour of the word overlayed on the colour swatch - I'll suggest it to the programmer!
