How to transfer messages from window to linux

Can any body please tell me how to transfer *.pst file from Outlook 2000 to Linux email system (Evolution email). As we are in a process to migrate from Windows to Linux, we need the procedure or software for how to transfer the *.pst files to linux based email system.

Please help me in this.

No simple way I know of. Your best bet is probably to use an IMAP and LDAP servers as an intermediate step. Transfer the folders/mail to IMAP, and the addresses to an LDAP store.Then bring them into Evolution.

You can export the e-mails by folder into a text file; if your Linux app will let you import from a .csv or .txt file, that should do it for you pretty easily.
