Looks good to me and certainly takes out the hazzle with signing up through Lycos. PT are a bit more expensive, but they throw in click-through reporting and other stuff not available elsewhere.
Oh of course, we've had a few wishpers about that before [webmasterworld.com] ;)
Just used Lycos and see they are promisining click through and other reporting as "coming soon"
I asked Lycos when the reports advertised on Insite Select as coming soon will be available & got this reply:
"The reporting features are coming in the very near future! We're constantly working on improving Lycos InSite and I'm confident you will enjoy all the positive changes made to the service. You can look for reports in the upcoming weeks."
Reports are:
Links to My Site - See which other sites link to your web site
Status Reports - View the URLs in your account and their current state.
Click-thru Charts - Graphical representation of Click-Thru Data.
Will be interesting to see how they compare with Posion Pro reports.
The Lycos Insite Select system seems geared to use by single domain owners rather than SEOs. Submitting & managing multiple domains is pretty clunky because unlike Position Pro they don't separate domains.
I have been using LIS for a few months now and all is cool, except that trying to add a NEW url to my batch is an enourmous headache.
Can anyone throw some light? I can edit the ones I paid for but can't add new ones...
Am i in the right forum? :)
Addind additional URLs is certainly not clearly documented so I emailed Lycos asking how to do it. Below is their reply which I've successfully followed. Hope this answers your question:

[edit reason] tos #9: Email excerpts of ANY type are not allowed on WebmasterWorld. [/edit]
I believe I followed that procedure but what happened is that on the final stage, I would have gotten charged again for the $18 annual membership, in addition to the $12 per new URL...That got me confused.
Since working from within the account, membership charges should be taken for granted, no?
Anyway, I will try it one more time. Thanks!
