seems nobody noticed, fast claims index contains 2,112,188,990 pages
now than the 2,095,568,809 when the 2.1B news was released.
new numbers were there atleast 3 days back. looks like injecting new
pages on the fly.

I could be from PFI?
That would cause the numbers to go up a bit. However Fast has stated that only around 1% of the index is PFI.

FAST crawls continually - unlike Google FAST does not have a set cycle of updating the complete db in one go.

So it's absolutely not surprising to see the number of pages indexed rise yet again.
