Linking Subdomains

How much is too much when linking subdomains?

I have one subdomain which links to my main site and visa versa. They are both doing well in Google. I am going to be adding a different kind of product and would like to give it another subdomain. As time goes by, I will be adding more too.

Should I be worried at all about linking these subdomains together with my main domain as far as Google is concerned? The linking will be limited to one or two links on each page to the others.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Look at all the bloghosting sites that give each blog a subdomain. Almost all of them link from the blog to the host and vise-versa.

The only thing you really risk is that PR will not flow and that really shouldn't concern you so long as visitors do.
