Any recommendations for hiring SEO help?

I have been using the valuable information here at WebmasterWorld for a few years and my company's site has benefited tremendously. We are looking to hire an outside SEO company or individual for some contract work.

We are primarily interested in having someone look over what we have done and provide suggestions. We are capable of actually doing the modifications and creating addtional pages if necessary.

Any recommendations? I noticed that a lot of the long time members and moderators here do this for a living. We have contacted a number of companies and been turned down because their existing customers are our comp, and for the fact that out industry is rather competitive.

Any help or direction would be great.

One of the biggest problems that you will find is the truly good SEOs don't take on clients, and the ones who do, only take ones who have very deep pockets.

My suggestion is to go to WebmasterWorld PubCon in Vegas next month, meet some SEOs face to face, and hire the best one you can find.

Cheers,
