I published a site on 7.15.05 and as of 9.04.05, still no back links in Google.. Yahoo shows 143, MS shows 685...
Does anyone have an idea of how often they update? Thanks...

There's no way to know when they'll update. I wouldn't use Google to look up how many backlinks you have, go to MSN and Yahoo! for that, if they know it's there chances are Google does too.

This is more of a G question, no?
Backlinks are updates by G as they see fit, there is no set time table. With that being said, they are typically updated every 90 days.
