I have done a little research and have the following hunch:

LSI becomes more and more important, at least in the SEs that count.
Because of that whole sites are 'sandboxed' for their main KW (all other things being equal and they have good rankings for 2 and 3 KWs).

Why? As long as a site is 'new', words that are distributed across the site are weighted less (= main KW) because of global term weighting.

Now if this were correct would it make sense to go out of one's way and AVOID the main KW? :)

in other words, beat around the bush and you will succeed!

what are your thoughts?

Ive been experimenting with teh key words on my site increased teh density by 2 words and teh page drops back 20 palces.

Im going to delete those words and see if I go up or not as teh case may well be.
