Hello,

I am in the process of building a pretty rich SEO type application.

Basically, my site has a ton of database content that never gets picked up.. forum style.

I'm looking to create a static Google friendly version of my site to put up. Problem is, I cant just use a spider and save the stuff becaues I want to have control of the page titles and page names.

So I'm working to have this allow the user to select a table in their database, choose which column they want to use for particular SEO sensitive parts of the page.. then also apply any formatting.

After they do this they can output to their site with styles and have high optmized pages.

Do you think I should make this with others in mind or just for my site? Would anyone here think something like this is useful? Or is there something already out there that I'm missing...

Thanks

There are a few good apps out there already but some have their own differences between each other.

Are you building something to generate static pages from a table offline for uploading to the server? Or are will this app generate static pages online from your dynamic pages/db on the server?

Google is able to index dynamically generated sites. It's the other search engines you should be worried about.
