Hi, i am having great fun trying to save some relevant informations from this complex seo.

1)I was wondering if the html content of my doorways pages should have any sense? Or can it be something meaningless as the spider is a robot ?

2)And also how many pages the web site should have to be relevant to a spider.

3)Do you use one keyword for one page or one page can contain more keywords ?

Thanks a lot for your help.

Welcome to WmW Iuna,

Yes, this is actually very important. The spiders and SE's are getting smarter and they are penalizing for more things, including irrelevant doorways. Why would you want to have an irrelevant doorway anyway? What would you be accomplishing?

Think of it this way: The SE is a business, and to provide its customers (people searching) with the best service, it has to bring back the best results for their search. To do this, you must give the SE some quality content to chew on, and then they will spit you out to the user.

>>>?>>2)And also how many pages the web site should have to be relevant to a spider.>>>>>>

Is this question asking how many pages of the site should be relevant for the spider? If so, then the answer is all of them. All of your pages should have quality content, or as much as possible, and your pages should be relevant to each other in some way......and if not, do not link to them.

>>>>>>3)Do you use one keyword for one page or one page can contain more keywords ?>>>>>>

It is best to use 1-3 keywords a page, and have those 1-3 keywords in the content of the page. It is good practice to never use a keyword that is not in the content.

I hope this helps

Do you get penalized if you have like 20 keywords? Do keywords at the end of a list have less relevance than ones at the beginning?

If you have twenty keywords I don't think that the chances of you getting a decent position for all of them is good.

Am I wrong, have you gotten good results?

If you have 20 keywords......is the keyword density good?......are they all in the content?

I think a better way to practice SEO is to use less keywords.

I use only keywords that I can create a legitimate page around, as agerhart has suggested, that is full of great content.

The search engines will like it and the serchers will like it. Remember, you always have a human editor on your shoulder. Will this site or page pass their review?

And welcome iuna.

I think that is the best thing to remember when building......think of a person looking at your site and critiquing it. Would they approve it, or would they see some aspect of it as spam?

Exactley, agerhart. A human going to to a page like that probably wouldn't go any further.
