OK, I feel like I know the answer to this but I want some second opinions. Let's say I am working on a website for Dodge. The webpage for "Dodge Ram" also needs to be optimized for "Dodge Truck." Should I:

1) Create a standard product page with combined content addressing both KWs, and ultimately and use both KWs in anchor-text links (intra/external) pointing at the same page? If so, what should the page be named dodge.com/ram.htm or dodge.com/truck.htm (the KW with the highest search volume)?

2) Create seperate pages for each KW even though it's selling the same product?

Thanks for your input!

Option 1.

Also don't worry too much about the file names; but if you want to have keywords in the file names, make sure to keep them short and not try to stuff a bunch of keywords in there.

I would go with dodge.com/ram.htm

Even though truck has a high search volume, the more specific your page is the better.

Maybe the url would even be better as dodgetruck.com/ram.htm
or dodge.com/truck-ram.htm

But I think if the title of your page is Dodge Ram, then it's better that the url have dodge ram in it too.

The page file name isn't going to matter much. Your title and page content are what's important.
