hey everyone!

I was wondering what general rules you guys follow any general rules in relation to the "article directory website" PR ranking.

I have found a huge list of article directories. I have gone to them and they all use the same type of programing. So they are nice looking and seem to have content.

Problem is majority of the 200 i have found have a PR of 0. Does this mean they are going to be a waste of my time?

I have been sticking to the directory websites that have a PR of 4 or above. What do you guys think?

I suspect it is certainly not worth the effort you are putting in.. but if it makes you feel better ;)

Google Public Pagerank is ONLY an indication of the true PageRank that Google uses internaly to rank pages.

As long as the domains have not been banned by google, there is a good chance (if there is good content and design) that the sites in question will gain PageRank over time.

Links are always worth the time. My 2c

I run on with a PR of 4. It's my own programming so maybe it's not on your list. :D

Anyway, I do lots of content marketing and my process is simple. I submit each article by hand to a selection of top article websites (in my opinion) and then use an auto-submit service for the rest of the promotion.

PR really means nothing. If no one is coming to grab your articles, what good is it?
