Hello,

This may seem like a dumb question, but is there anything or anyplace
that I can go to see a comparison of keywords matched up with the
associated websites.

Let me explain:

When you go to Overture & look up a search term with their tool, it
spits back a number of suggested terms. Then you must open a
second tool to get the bids.

My question is this, Is there a tool via software or website service
that will lay all terms & bids on one page showing everything. It seems
that it would be pretty easy with the data provided already.

Example: Keyword = Golf

Searches done in July 2002
Count

675795 golf club www.gigagolf.com (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.85)www.diamondtourgolf.com (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.56)etc.

426626 golf www.homesteadresort.com (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.61)www.ussog.com (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.56)etc

310383 golf course www.homesteadresort.com (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.46) www.golf-courses.org (Advertiser's Max Bid: $0.41) etc

etc.

I think this would be very cool, especially for competitive analysis.

Thanks for any help,

Rod

PS - It would also be nice the have a reverse search engine for the
PPC's that could look up each company & see what keywords they were
buying.

Bleah! I can hardly think of a faster way for a PPC engine to anger its advertisers. The information is publicly available, but I would consider it an appalling breach of faith if a PPC engine where I have bids started making it -t h a t- easy for competitors to copy what I'm doing!

Buckworks,

I am not suggesting they would be a willing participant. I am just saying it would be a cool tool. It would makes things more interesting.

Hey, you didn't respond on the first half of the question...any clues on where I could find something like this?

rbeckwith,

There are a number of pieces of software that will provide you with the information you require.

If you search for bid management tools on a search engine you will be presented with the choice of web based services or purchase outright, both have their merits.

Drop me a sticky and I'll let you know which are the best (don't want to upset Brett by advertising you know!
