I have read quite a bit of slams against Looksmart around here. A great deal of the negativity seems to be derived from the bait-and-switch they pulled.

Well, I need a means to get a top position on MSN. I currently have a #1 Inktomi backfill and #1 Overture. Problem isOverture looks like an advertisment and my inktomi #1 is after 140 fills from Looksmart.

So, I am considering hoping onto Looksmart but am leary. I would like to do several pages, about 15 of them. However the concept of paying that setup fee per page makes me wretch and there is no way I am signing up for their corporate level service where you have to spend $1500 or $2500 per month.

I have never dabbled with Looksmart so is there a way I could have multiple pages on my account without paying that blasted setup fee over and over again. The pages would even be from different domains.

Lastly, is Looksmart worth it? Are they riddled with false-clicking like overture? Are they just criminal corporate pigdogs like Worldcomm? Where is my Sombrero?

>>>riddled with false-clicking like overture

Can you say "clickbot"?

It may be a little known fact that some people run clickbots up and down the Overture serps from various proxies and ua's, eating up the competitions budget. It is the same with L$.

However, this may not be happening in your search phrases and L$ is about the only way to not be #140 in M$N. Keep an eye on the roi and it can work.

I think the rule is one listing per site, so if you had 15 different domains you could probbaly do it, but I'd go one at a time and see what happens.

If they think they can tag you for more $$$ or that you should be a "Big Business" customer you might run into difficulties.
