Is someone trying to pull a fast one?

I've been getting the following spam in my email from what at first appears to be from Overture, but its from otxbb@ifilm.com - iFilm!? And its supposedly from the Marketing Director of Overture, Eric Rasmussen- Eric Rasmussen is a hockey player for the Buffalo Sabres! Ok.. enough, here's the junk:

Subject: We'd Like Your Feedback!

On behalf of all of us at Overture, we would like to thank you for your continued business. In order to better serve and understand our customers, we are gathering information from selected people like you in the form of a short online survey. (If you have more than one Overture account, please consider your accounts in aggregate).

Contracted with them maybe, but why the iFilm.com?

Anyone else get this?

The most interesting questions was:
"How interested would you be if Overture could help provide you with an e-mail product to market to your current customers?"

See and I'm wondering if this survey is really sponsored by Overture- or by someone who'se got Overture's email list and is trying to make a buck off of it...

Again its awfully suspicious that the survey comes from "ifilm.com" and such... ifilm.com is a movie website that lets you download trailers and commercials and such- and from what I can tell has no links to otxresearch...

Anyone else think its a scam? :) I wrote overture and iFilm but no response yet.

Ok its legit- turns out that OTXResearch is related to iFilm.com (I still don't know how.. but mabye its because they turn a buck by doing statistical analysis of all the iFilm users viewing habits and such)-- but in any case, both iFilm and Overture responded with the authenticity of this survey..

Next time I think they should send something from overture.com- or atleast matchup the domain name with the company who'se doing the research! :)
