This is what you´ll get when you try to submit in any language that isn´t English or Spanish ( in my case, it was Portuguese ). This is happening since the beginning of June. ( UK, Germany and France have specific Overture versions now, but they forgot all the other languages, like Italian, Portuguese, etc etc )

“Notes: We are sorry, but we are unable to accept your recent listing submission. At this time, Editorial Operations for the U.S. marketplace is unable to process listings in the language you submitted. We will gladly process any listings in English or Spanish.

If you currently have listings online in languages other than English or Spanish, please be advised that we will no longer accept modifications to those listings. If you wish, you may delete those listings from your account.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you and look forward to receiving your English or Spanish-language submissions into the U.S. marketplace.”

Bluelook, what language did you try, portuguese? They have until now accepted that?

Yes. Only since June I receive that reply to my submissions...
Now I have to think of a way to spend my 50 bucks that are on my account.

Sincerely,

That's right,
the same happened to me trying to submit italian keywords for Italian pages and they answer in the same way bluelook wrote. Before June it was possible, I submitted German, French and Italian KWs in US overture. I hope they'll open in Italy soon.

Well German and French shouldn't pose any problems, since they have german and french offices.

Interesting in this regard is info which Bill has posted lately here:

To quote:

their DirecTraffic Center will be in all languages of all the markets they support. (Currently, US English, UK English, German, French and japanese.) You will be able to toggle between them, and set your preference for support.

The same for Holland :-(

The strange part is that I still have old submissions in Dutch in it, why did they not remove those then?

Had the same for german (!) listings, when trying to submit to overture.com. Seems they want to force local listings in the local marketplaces. Sigh, too bad.. :(

Well, yes and no, heini: before the new rule, I reserved a number of key-word-phrases in French, and am getting significant traffic for them via overture.com
As everyone knows, many nationalities of users have a habit of using the English-language SE!
