My employer however does not want to wait for these to tick over and is pushing for information on pay per click. I have done some research and was wondering what anybody though on the following topics.
Does it work?
Are the Keyword selection gizmos(Number of serches etc) on Overture and say e-spotting.com reliable or a good indicator of what traffic to expect.
What about the price difference on UK engines? Does this reflect that fact that they don't work or have not caught on yet.
Google give a good spec on the number of clicks their advertisers get on average for a specific keyword. Do you think 200 clicks a month for our selected keywords is likely to be any good for a small company.
I hope this is of some interest to someone out there as it is doing my head in! I have picked up so many fantastic tips and info here alredy I though I would give it a go.

For many, yes. For many others, no. You will have to do some PPC ROI testing for your particular site.

We have had a discussion about this... I will look for it shortly. If my memory serves correct, most folks sitting on #1 were getting around 10% - 15% clicks on the number of searches performed.
