Is this just a glitch on my end or does anyone else notice this?

The web directory results are there, but it says they are from Direct Hit...

Under the keyphrase 'georgia dui laws' no web directory shows at all. Yesterday there were about 7 or 8 lawyers listed there (according to LS, I've used up my clicks so I was dropped). Now I see none. Strange.

You're right. For that keyphrase there aren't any directory results. I tried for 'cars'.

Maybe my competition decided not to pay any more money to LS and they all got dropped too.

Bit of a dangerous step by Looksmart to target Lawyers first...

For my most important keyword phrase there are 115 results in the LS directory.

MSN has only shown 5 of them, followed by Inktomi.

They have also separated 'web directory sites' from (Inktomi) 'webpages'.

This is new and I am VERY HAPPY because I lost a #2 position on MSN via LookSmart but I am now being found again at #14 via Inktomi!

I'm so glad I didn't activate my account!

IANAL, but just last weekend I found that so many directory entries had been newly dropped that my Inktomi listing moved up from position 15 to 5 for my favourite phrase. Not that I'm complaining... ;)

The VERY significant point here is that 'LookSmart' listings are being capped on MSN.

We already knew that a significant number of 'LookSmart' listings would disappear when the clicks run out but that isn't what is happening here.

I intentionally dropped out of the top three Overture listings on Sunday to see what effect that would have on referrals. LS dropped me Monday because I didn't send any money. Today, all the other LS web directory listings for most of my key phrases were dropped from MSN. I have the first two web page listings for my most common phrase (puts me numbers 4 & 5 on the first page). So far today MS referrals are smacking the snot out of Google. Maybe I'm onto something. ;) <fingers crossed>

Wow!
They ARE gone! (looksmart website listings on msn) on terms I have been trying to list high on.
Inktomi listings have suddenly become more productive.
LookSmart has just raised Inktomi's stock value IMHO.
