Welcome! makemetop beat me to the point I wanted to make: We're getting nervous here in Europe, what with everything free being taken away in the US and ourselves next in the firing line. So we sure could use some savvy help.

The Brits are climbing the walls because of Goto's pricing. However, in many other other countries dot-coms are hugely popular and almost any non-English word can be had for 1 cent with placement in 1-5. But is it worth it? That we don't know and precious few of us have any experience. So please feel free to drop in at any time and share your wisdom with us in this thread:
