Overture listings make AV & INK overkill?

I already use OV, any reason to pay AV and INK?

I am getting good results using Overture-paid keywords.

Since these results appear on top on Altavista and MSN, is there any real reason to go to the expense of AV's and INK's PFI system?

It is tough to warrant paying the AV spidering fee, but the INK fee is justifiable in my opinion.

In MSN and AOL the INK results will appear on the more refined keyword searches, and the Overture results will disappear in most cases. Try a 3 or 4 word search and you will notice that the Overture listings are not there and the displayed results are usually pure INK.

hmm, good point - I guess that also means that INK will help me on any search words that are slightly off my OV keywords.

But how do you get INK keywords? I thought it was just PFI, so no keyword selection?

You need to optimize your web pages for the keywords....you aren't buying or bidding on them.

Good ol' search engine optimization.

ah-hah! "Good ol' SEO" as you say - title, keywords, all that fun stuff. Ah, the good ol' days... :-)

Thanks for your answers!!

Ink is worth the money now that LS is out of the picture for a directory listing. If you think about sit they will be constantly changing SERPS and LS will not have consistent sites to use like they did before. Ink may end up getting more coverage because of this fact.
