Is this still available if you don't have an account with them? I used a link yesterday and now it doesn't work. Thanks!

Yes, Overture see the tool as good advertising of their services (certainly is on at least the viral marketing level), and have no plans to stop doing so so far as I'm aware.

Sometimes they change the URL though. Just go to Overture, click the 'Advertiser Login' link (no need to actually login) and there's the tool.

[inventory.overture.com...]
or
[inventory.uk.overture.com...]
or
[inventory.de.overture.com...]

(But it is down at the moment)

Thanks for the info. I thought they sometimes moved the url, but it does appear to be down. I'll check later.

Nothing seems to be working there now:(

They've been showing December searches, isn't it time for the switch to January?
It's up now and instead of telling the specific month it now says "How many times that term was searched on last month."

It appears to be working again. I am not sure why they still have December numbers. It could be because December is probably their biggest month and they want to keep the larger numbers up as long as they can.

November and December skew the results related to the rest of the year DrCool, since a lot of terms get heavy searches only for the holiday season. So if it's December numbers without saying so, it'll be very inaccurate for gauging certain things that are seasonal.

I agree Marcia. The December results do not give an accurate measure of what to expect in February but from Overture's side they probably want to show the biggest numbers they can. When I look at it I see it saying "Searches done in December 2001", I didn't see the "previous month" statement you did. I didn't even notice or pay attention to that and in fact I hardly ever look at what month the results are from. I think Overture realizes that many people don't look at what month the results are from and want to give the biggest numbers they can. I would have a huge problem if they said "previous month" and gave the numbers for 2 or 3 months prior though.
