Pls help to figure out if I should advertise on a few PPC- say, epilot, kanoodle and findwhat- at the same time? Should I do the bids on the same keywords? Can it be logical/benefitial? For adult site?
Thanx in advance. Tryed overture- it sucks.

There is no need to be hesitant in trying
out a few of the other "top pay per click
search engines"... your results (ROI) might
surprise you!!! I would first suggest...

FindWhat.com
Kanoodle.com
Ah-ha.com

I would suggest making one spreadsheet with
all of you keywords, descriptions, URL, bid
setting up an account with each and submit
your mass keyword submission sheet and let
each PPCSE set your keywords up for you.

IMHO, it's VERY hard to get a positive ROI with PPC engines if the subject matter generally has terribly conversions, as adult sites usually do. There's too much content available for free and WAY too much competition to assume a visitor is likely to drop a nickle on anything.

Remember, the end user doesn't really care that it costs you anything, they're just trolling for adult content as they would on any search engine.

If you must use them, be sure to EMPHASIZE the pay nature of the access or whatever it is you can actually profit from. Even the slightest implication of free content will draw visitors in, but will ultimately just cost you a fortunre with little revenue.

This applies to many categories, travel and even real estate come to mind.

Very true. And while most marketers won't admit it, there's plenty of sites paying WAY more than they should if they expect to return a direct profit, however not everyone analyzes ROI as they should/could so the costs seem justifyable in the grand scheme of things.

Gambling sites are a terrific example, the big players don't want to lose a potential customer so they're willing to pay ridiculous amounts on keyword bids rather than lose out to the competition, but even over x number of years I promise they're not ALL getting the conversions to justify what they're paying.
